On May 22, 2021, Full-English teaching team of Business School invited Dr. Zhao Yize to give a unique Academic salon in our school.
Dr. Zhao Yize, from Pakistan, studied in the School of Business of our university in 2018. His research area is Management Science and Engineering. He published papers in well-known academic journals at home and abroad. In this academic salon, Dr. Zhao gave a detailed and interesting exposition on the local conditions and customs of Pakistan, China-Pakistan cultural exchanges, bilateral trade and the practice of China-Pakistan enterprises. Chinese students had an in-depth understanding of foreign culture and economic development by this salon.
First of all, Dr. Zhao introduced the culture of Pakistan, including the Independence Day of Pakistan, landforms and landscapes, and the capital of Pakistan - Islamabad. Dr. Zhao introduced distribution of Pakistan's economy and industries, as well as the change of its GDP in recent years, and affirmed and praised the strong economic strength of China. Dr. Zhao also introduced the political, economic and trade relations between China and Pakistan. China helps Pakistan become stronger and stronger. China is a good brother and partner of Pakistan. He expressed his appreciation and gratitude to China.
Later, Dr. Zhao introduced the practice of Chinese enterprises in Pakistan to the students in detail. China has invested in many enterprises in Pakistan, including the China-Pakistan Joint Investment Company, Zong 4G, Haier, Vivo, China Construction Corporation, etc. As the only 4G provider in Pakistan, Zong 4G greatly facilitates the daily life of Pakistanis. The active construction of Chinese enterprises in Pakistan also reflects the harmonious relationship between the two peoples. Dr Zhao also discussed about construction of China - Pakistan economic corridor(CPEC) and One Belt and One Road Strategy.
In the course of Dr. Zhao's lecture, Associate Professor Li Feifei helped explain and further explore the topic into economic and financial areas. Chinese students not only understood the local conditions and customs of foreign countries, but also enlarge their knowledge. After Dr. Zhao's presentation, the participants had a warm exchange and discussion with Dr. Zhao, which enhanced their oral communication skills and deepened their understanding of Pakistan. After the exchange meeting, the students gained a lot and had a deeper understanding of their majors.
2021年5月22日，商学院全英授课团队邀请我院巴基斯塔博士留学生赵一泽来为工商管理和财务管理专业的本科生做了一场别开生面的英语学术沙龙。
赵一泽博士于2018年就读于我校商学院，研究领域为管理科学与工程，曾于国内外知名学术期刊发表论文。本次学术沙龙，赵博士就巴基斯坦的风土人情、中巴文化交流、双边贸易以及中巴企业实践等方面进行了详细而有趣的阐述，使学生们深入了解国外文化以及经济发展情况。
首先，赵博士为同学们介绍了巴基斯坦的民俗与文化，以及巴基斯坦的GDP、产业分布等情况。赵博士还对中巴两国的政治、经贸关系进行了分析，中国帮助在巴基斯坦发展方面发挥了巨大作用，是巴基斯坦的好兄弟、好伙伴。他深切表达了对中国的赞赏、感激之情。
随后，赵博士为同学们详细介绍了中国企业在巴基斯坦的企业实践，包括中巴共建投资公司、ZONG 4G、海尔、VIVO、中国建设股份有限公司等。ZONG 4G是中国移动协助下建立的巴基斯坦4G供应商，极大地便利了巴基斯坦人的日常生活。赵博士结合当下的经济热点，与同学们探讨了“一带一路”沿线的经济建设情况，以及中国-巴基斯坦经济走廊的发展。
在赵博士的讲解过程中，我院李斐斐老师选取了赵博士讲解的重要内容，针对性的为同学们进行了延伸和拓展。同学们既了解国外的风土人情，又能提高自身的知识素养，提高了英语听说能力。在赵博士讲解完毕后，同学们与赵博士进行了热情的交流与讨论。交流结束后，同学们收获颇丰，对自己的专业有了更深层次的认知。
