In order to learn from the experience of international exchange and cooperation of domestic universities and better promote the international exchange work of our college, Dean Shi Da of Surrey International College of Northeast University of Finance and Economics was invited to our college for an in-depth experience exchange on October 16, 2021. Dean Xia Tongshui, Professor Xiang Dong, All-English teaching team and teachers of the Chinese and foreign cooperation department participated in the seminar.
Dean Shi Da firstly introduced the specific practices and experiences of Surrey International College. Based on the concept of "Study Abroad Without Going Abroad", Surrey International College has achieved the goal of providing first-class international teaching resources for Chinese students in China. It has introduced the teaching system and discipline system of the University of Surrey, and recruited excellent teachers from all over the world. To ensure high quality teaching and learning, Surrey International College has set up an academic support system. The system includes features such as Academic Guidance, Study Abroad Center, Academic English Center, Career Development Center, and Alumni Resource Center to enhance student support and student care in a comprehensive manner.
Afterwards, two teachers, Lou Wandong and Cao Le, introduced to Dean Shi Da the details of our Sino-Korean Logistics Program and Sino-US Finance and Management Program, including the training model, discipline construction, admissions and student development. Professor Xiang Dong asked Dean Shi how to better promote the cooperation with Queen Mary University in blockchain and business data programs. Ms. Hu Haiqing had an in-depth discussion with Dean Shi on how to develop external cooperation at the master and doctoral levels.
Dean Xia Tongshui and Dean Shi Da exchanged their views and opinions on the overall development of our cooperative education program and the problems existing in its operation. Dean Xia and all the teachers present said that they should take Surrey International College as the benchmark, accelerate the construction pace of international cooperation of Shandong Normal University Business School, and continue to promote the improvement of teaching quality, build the brand effect of international cooperation projects of the Business School, and push the management and teaching level of our college to a new level.
为汲取国内高校国际交流合作的经验，更好的推进我院国际交流工作，2021年10月16日，特邀请东北财经大学萨里国际学院院史达院长来我院进行深度的经验交流。商学院夏同水院长、国际化示范学院外方院长项东教授、国际化师范学院运营部主任李斐斐老师及全英教学团队骨干、中外合作部相关老师参与了座谈会。
史达院长首先介绍了东北财经大学萨里国际学院的具体做法和经验。围绕“留学不出国”的理念，萨里国际学院实现了为国内的中国学生提供一流国际教学资源的目标。它全面引入了英国萨里大学的教学体系和学科系统，并在全球招聘优秀全英教师。为保障高质量的教学效果，萨里国际学院设置了学业支持系统。该系统包括了学业指导、留学中心、学术英语中心、职业发展中心、校友资源中心等特色的内容，全面提升学生支持和学生关怀。
随后，我院娄万东、曹乐两位老师分别向史达院长介绍了我院中韩物流项目和中美财管项目的具体情况，包括培养模式、学科建设、录取情况及学生发展等。项东老师向史达院长请教了如何更好的推进同英国玛丽女王大学在区块链和商务数据等项目的合作。胡海清老师就如何在硕士和博士层面开展对外合作，与史院长做了深入交流。
夏同水院长与史达院长就我院合作办学项目的整体开展情况和运行中存在的问题交流了看法和意见。夏院长以及在座的各位老师均表示，要以萨里国际学院为对标对象，加快山东师范大学商学院国际化合作的建设步伐，并持续推进教学质量的提升，打造商学院国际合作项目的品牌效应，将我院的管理和教学水平推上一个崭新的台阶。
